Duties and
Responsibilities:
Plan,
organize, disseminate, and supervise the Center’s student daily/
7-days-per-week, recreational & vocational activities and schedule.
Supervise,
train, and evaluate full-time and part-time recreation staff.
Maintain
and oversee department budget, and equipment & materials
inventory.
Provide
students instruction in developing recreational/vocational skills.
Monitor
and oversee student interaction, ensuring proper involvement
and safety practices are maintained.
Comply
with applicable documentation and reporting duties.
Ensure
a healthy and safe recreational & vocational learning environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s
Degree in Recreation preferred.
Health,
Physical Education or a closely related field with two (2) years
relevant experience considered.
Directly-related
experience may be substituted for education on a
year-to-year basis.
Computer
experience desirable.
Valid
Class “C” driver’s license (CDL) with a good driving record.
Strong
interpersonal skills, team skills, pro-active problem-solving skills
and solid communication skills must be demonstrated.
