6-State Southwest Regional JOC, U.S. Army

DEL-JEN has been providing construction and renovations services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District continuously since 1989. On this contract, we were required to respond to fast turnover construction projects in an area covering six states –  Arkansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. We performed over 115 task orders, ranging in value from $3,577 to $448,923.

One of the challenges for this project was the wide geographical area under our responsibility. At one point during the contract, each member of our three-person management team was driving approximately 4,000 miles a month to inspect various projects under development. We used digital cameras and video recorders to document progress and maintain communications with our customers. It paid off, as can be seen in the following quote:
